Located just off the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake is the Laguardo Recreation Area which includes picnic shelters, fishing, a man made beach, boat launch and playground.
Laguardo is an interesting place to find a lake house, especially if you are looking for one to re-hab or re-build. This area is one of Lebanon’s best-kept secrets. The location of Laguardo being right off of Hwy 109 is accessible to everything including the Interstate 40. The location on Old Hickory Lake is unbeatable for deep waters and gorgeous sunset views. On the other side of Hwy 109 is the area of Laguardo that boasts rolling hills and plenty of land. It is not a large area and not much to offer other than location. However, if you are fortunate enough to snag one of these hide away properties and you don’t mind being a distance away from nearby shopping, groceries, or public amenities then consider your self lucky.
